Former NCAA All American Lyndsey Fennelly examines and demonstrates an All in One Workout. The All In One Workout is a series of drills that will improve a wide range of skill sets that can be done individually, in pairs or a group. The goal is to create the complete basketball player. Areas of focus include making players more dangerous with three, finishing moves around the rim, attacking the basket and attacking with their back to the basket.
Fennelly starts her workout with singleball handling drills where players move up and down the floor getting loose and breaking a sweat before the core workout begins. By starting with ball handling, players develop the confidence needed to put the ball on the floor and beat their defender off the dribble.
In part two , players put their new moves to the test while working on creative finishes at the rim. Coach Fennelly encourages thinking outside the box as she demonstrates six atypical finishing moves around the rim. Players learn not just to take shots, but how to make shots.
A complete player must be able to effectively shoot the ball. Whether its a midrange jumper or an outside 3point shot, players must be able to knock down shots. In Coach Fennellys one dribble pull ups, players learn to catchandshoot and use shot fakes to create open shots and better scoring opportunities. With this drill, players learn how to change their game and put fear into their opponents as they consistently knock down shot after shot.
This is a dynamic skill development workout. Using the instruction in this video, any player or coach will be able to create a complete, unstoppable player who works hard and effectively and has confidence in their game.
